User registration is currently not allowed.&#8221; on the register page when WordPress is set to refuse new accounts. UsersWP follows the WordPress setting, so that is where you turn registration on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Single site<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In wp-admin, go to Settings > General.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Next to Membership, tick Anyone can register.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check New User Default Role. Subscriber is the usual choice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Save Changes and reload your register page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Multisite<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On a network the setting is in Network Admin > Settings. Under Allow new registrations, choose User accounts may be registered, or Both sites and user accounts can be registered.
