The core plugin has almost nothing to switch, so on most sites the tab only shows &#8220;You will see the options to disable the active notifications for UsersWP and it&#8217;s add ons.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">UsersWP add-ons can add their own options to this tab through the <code>uwp_mute_notification_types<\/code> filter, and those appear as checkboxes when the add-on is active. If none of your plugins add an option, the message is all the tab will ever show, and you can remove the tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Remove the Notifications tab<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Add this to your child theme&#8217;s functions.php or a code snippets plugin:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-prismatic-blocks\"><code class=\"language-php\">add_filter( &#039;uwp_account_available_tabs&#039;, &#039;my_uwp_remove_notifications_tab&#039; );\nfunction my_uwp_remove_notifications_tab( $tabs ) {\n\tunset( $tabs&#091;&#039;notifications&#039;&#093; );\n\treturn $tabs;\n}<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The same filter removes the Privacy tab with <code>unset( $tabs&#091;&#039;privacy&#039;&#093; );<\/code>.
