This article will guide you through the process of setting up the MailChimp extension for UsersWP.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Getting Started<\/h2>\n
You need to have the MailChimp<\/a> extension for UsersWP installed and activated in order to access these options.\u00a0<\/section>\n

The Mailchimp extension for UsersWP lets users subscribe to your MailChimp newsletter.\u00a0<\/p>\n

First, make sure you have created a MailChimp account and mailing list. Furthermore, you will need a MailChimp API Key (more details here<\/a>) as well as an Audience ID (details here<\/a>).\u00a0\u00a0<\/dd>\n

Upon successful activation of the extension, head to UsersWP > Addons > MailChimp <\/strong>and input your API Key and Audience ID in the respective fields. For details, read our Settings Overview<\/a>.\u00a0<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

You have now integrated the extension with your MailChimp account.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Adding Subscription Forms<\/h2>\n

The extension provides a custom widget UWP > MailChimp <\/strong>that can be used to add subscription forms to any content area. You may read more about it on this page<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In addition to that, a new field “Subscribe to newsletter – Mailchimp” is available in UsersWP > Form Builder > Account<\/strong>\u00a0which can be added to the\u00a0Registration Form\u00a0<\/strong>that allows users to signup to your mailing subscriber list whilst they are creating a new account. You can select the list from the field option in which you want to subscribe user on registration.<\/p>\n\n\n
