I uninstalled this plugin for now but I think that it kept all the associated pages. I feel like it kept some other front end things. I don’t recall… But, can you login and remove pages associated with this plugin? I don’t know exactly what it created and what it didn’t create and, despite uninstalling it, it appears to still have pages associated with it.

Also, while this may not be an issue, the menu still has the “my account” and I thought that was a UserWP thing. When I logged out I got a really ugly screen as well.

    Hello,

I checked and the plugin is not active or installed, looks good.

Pages can be deleted at: WP – Pages

Plugins don’t automatically delete pages or remove data (usually, as a WP *standard*) and those options are left to site managers.

I installed this plugin because I thought it was solid and offering things based off the demo. The more I learned the more I realized it was not fully developed. So, I decided to remove it. Now I don’t know what it “created” and left behind. Because you guys made it you should know what it created and left behind, not me. For example it made a login page, but GD already had a login page. I can figure out which is which but obviously anyone coming into GD new, trying to figure out which theme will work best (after the one they wanted to use, ET in my case, clearly didn’t work well with your plugins) so now I don’t know what the theme needed/had essentially. I thought UWP was by the GD people so it would work in a way that would use the same GD pages, not create new ones. When I installed other GD plugins it didn’t behave this way. So, it was logical for me to assume this.

Right now the theme appears different, at least when I log out, but that may have been something I did.

I guess I’ll just go in and look at the dates pages were created and figure out from there which are UWP and which may not be… I mostly was concerned other things may be happening as well and wanted you to make sure. But, if you say it’s all good I’ll just try and clean up the mess…

    Yes, look at the pages.

One thing I do on my own site is, if there are two pages called login, rename one so I can tell which one is linked from GD Permalinks -> Login, then keep that one and delete the other one.

I looked at the dates and deleted all the ones that were created on that day. Then I went to GDTools and ran a page check, all is good regarding this now it seems. thanks!
