Error when try to Login with Google

When I try to login using the Google social login feature I get the following response:
“Request failed. Either you have cancelled the authentication or Google refused the connection.”

I found this thread below someone else had same problem,but resolution post is marked private.
Can you share what was the issue and how it was resolved?

Hello,

in our next update we have several social login addon changes, breaking changes, in fact. I will flag your topic for the developers in case they have a comment, but, you should install that next update and be prepared to update your OAuth URLs.
