The problem when you translate something to another language, is that it changes completely. So having 1 word for everything and believe is correct, when it is not.
“Places” + “Categories”, you create a phrase with two separate words instead of one that is translatable in the PO files.
When you try to translate that (with the only option of separate words) you end up with this:
“Categories” + “Places for” in another language.
“Places Categories” makes sense. “Categories Places for” makes sense for you?
So, I have no idea who will understand that, because it makes no sense at all.
That way you use “Places” for everything and then it is imposible to work with, you end up with a site with:
“Categories” + “Places for”
“Tags” + “Places for”
Add: “Places”
Edit: “Places”
See: “Places”
And so on, everything with a single string and that breaks completely the usability for all your plugins.
So, as GeoDirectory as well use “Places” for everything.
I will not be able to add my translations, is that correct?
Or what are the filters for those 2?
Thanks.
