Forgot Password

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    Someone just informed me that they are submitting the forgot password and they’re getting nothing. Then I submitted and email to retrieve a password and the forgot password message said “Email sent”. However, I realized the email I was testing wasn’t even in the site. So, it should be saying something else like “That email is not in our system” or something. Otherwise someone may think it’s working when it isn’t and when they should be trying a different email.

    You can change that text with translation.

    We will check into changing the default.

    The theory behind it always acting like a success message is to make it impossible to determine if a particular email IS used on the site.
