    Hello,

    I’m having a problem with users login. A new user can create a new account (I can see it in the backend), but can’t login. It results in Invalid Username & Password. Using the ‘forgotten password’ option sends a new password, which also doesn’t work.

    When creating a new account, the member is kicked over to a blank, white screen, not redirected where they should be.

    Please advise urgently.

    Hi,

    I have checked on your site and found the following error:

    Your account is currently not active. An administrator needs to activate your account before you can login.

    Due to this error, it is not allowing the user to login and showing our generic message. Can you tell me which plugin is preventing new user registration to be an active user?

    Hi,

    I found the plugin called “All In One WP Security” having a setting “Enable manual approval of new registrations” enabled. That is preventing users from login after new registration. You can disable this setting to fix this issue.

    Hi,

    That plugin is good for using. You can just disable the manual approval of login so it will allow UsersWP to log in users. For stopping spam you can use our ReCaptcha add on on registration page.
