Hi, hoping you can help me. Having folks registering on site and then I tried. having a few odd issues.

Friend tried to register. First time she entered a 10 digit password and got a message saying the password needs to be atleast 7 digits? She tried with 11 and got the same message but was redirected to a random page (one of the cpt). Second attempt to register she did not get an error and was redirected to a random page in site (a different cpt). I did not have a redirect specified in backend, left it to wp default. I got no notification of her attempt to register though I have “Enable admin email notification” checked.

When I go to register, it shows 2 fields to “confirm password” in registration form. Not in the form setup at backend. Also, I got the message of needing more then 7 digits for password. it’s ok, but I’m wondering where this comes from?

At backend I noticed that there was nothing in the fields for Users/Registration Email Notification (I had not done anything to this so maybe it was never meant to be populated?) I added a message with shortcodes, one being [#activation_link#] and now I am getting the activation email but the activation link does not come in as a link, only text in email. How do I get it to be a link?

And I have been having issues with not being able to login as admin via UsersWP in Firefox, off and on for about a week. Has anyone else had issues with Firefox?

All in all, the whole login experience seems a little off. Ideas??

    And thanks!

Everything seems fine to me, except the triple password request.
I was not asked about characters, and activation link worked fine.
    Using chrome.

Bit strange in FireFox, I think you have both GD and UsersWp recapcha addons active?

Please send us WP admin details and we will check it out. Thanks.

It may be because you have network activated all plugins it seems.
You normally do not need the confirm password field I think, that should be automatic.
We do not have access to clear your cache either to test.
Please give us superadmin access details, so we can check.
    Thanks

    nope, not network activated.

i don’t remember fiddling with the registration fields, but sometimes that means nothing :).

Same login info, now super admin.

    Thanks Guust!

This makes absolutely no sense! I checked it out a few days ago and the keys were there!

and I am a bit confused, when i went in this morning, UserWP was deactivated, but recaptcha was still active. I reactivated UsersWP, added keys to recaptcha, cleared cache, double “confirm password” is still showing in Chrome and Firefox. Still cannot login with Firefox…

    Thanks,
    Micki

PS. Just went in and changed from invisible to V2, still showing double confirm…

    Hi There,

    The problem has been fixed.
It shows tow confirm password fields because one is enabled from UsersWP > Form Builder > Password > Display confirm password field? & another field standalone placed in form builder.
I have disabled standalone field and activated “Password > Display confirm password field?”.

Please check and let us know.

    Thanks,
    Kiran
