Pre sales question – multi select

Hi there

Just downloaded the free version before going to purchase and there’s one thing that’s not quite right.

In the registration box, I need a multi select option. But the way it displays is not good; nobody registering would necessarily know that it was a box to select multiple choices – it’s format is poor and then it just looks like a dropdown if a user even thought to click in it (which it’s not intuitive to do anyway). I have tried a couple of different themes to make sure it’s not my theme and it’s a new recent install of WP.

Also one more question – is it possible to add the custom registration fields to existing users to enable their profiles to be fully populated at a later date?
