Problem with "Register" form builder

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    Just installed this and I think I may have the same problem as this post.

    The ability to modify the form is fine on the “Account” form builder, but on the “Register” tab, all I see is this:

    Can't build form

    Please advise.

    Thanks for the quick response.

    Unfortunately the site isn’t live at the moment and is only in development so I am unable to provide a URL for it at this time.

    I may be able to setup a temporary location for it if needed.

    Have a look at what it says on the page, that may help.

    To make a field available here, go to account tab and expand any field from selected fields panel and tick the checkbox saying ‘Include this field in register form’.

    Thanks – yeah I just read that, though I guess you just expect to see the fields available like the previous page, but now I think I have figured out how to use it a bit more after reading that.

    I have some other questions, but will make another thread for that.

    Ok, I am trying to get rid of the “first name” and “last name” on the register form and even though I have marked them to NOT include them on the register form, they won’t go away.

    But I would like them to stay on the account tab, just not be on the register form.

    Hi Brett,

    Those are the default fields so will be displayed in the registration form. We have created this plugin with general users in mind. If you don’t want to display those fields in the registration form then you can do that by customizing the plugin. Our plugin is flexible so you can mostly extend it or modify it using customization without modifying the core files. Once you have a site on the server just provide us the details to access it and we will do it for you if you want.

    Hi Patrick,

    Thanks for the response, I understand.

    However, First Name and Last name aren’t WordPress default registration fields, they only ask for username and password – that’s why I see “This is mandatory register form field.” on this field, but first name and last name both allow you to choose to not show it on the registration form, but even when you say no, they still show – that’s what I don’t understand.

    This is done intentionally but if you want to change it then you can do some customization. We will take a note of this for future suggestions.
