Hello, on the reset password email, it reads:

Dear Username,

You have requested to reset your password for the following account:

http://www.website.com

Username: username
If this was by mistake, just ignore this email and nothing will happen.

To reset your password, click the following link and follow the instructions.

– how can I remove the reference to the website? I don’t see that it’s in the notification for the “New Password” email so I’m not sure where it’s being input.

Also, when the password is updated and the user logs in, how can we redirect users to the homepage or the last page they were vieweing? They are currently being directed to their account profile settings upon logging in with their new password and my client feels it’s confusing.

Hi Joy,

Currently, this email message is coming from the code and not in notifications settings. We will move this from code to notification settings so that admin can change the email message in the future release of the plugin.

It is not recommended to make changes in core files of the plugin but if this is required to be changed then you can change it from the code.

Let me know if you need more information.

Thank you for your response. Do you know when this change will take place so that we can edit the message?

Also, can you please address the other issue with the redirection after the password is reset?

Hi Joy,

The file is located at wp-content/plugins/userswp/includes/class-forms.php at line no. 933.

Regarding the last page, You can change login redirect to home page or last visited page from the userswp->login->Login Redirect Page option on the admin side.

I’m sorry I don’t think we’re on the same page here.

The redirect settings work. The only time it does not work is if you need to reset your password. Upon resetting the password we would like the redirect to either go to the last page or the home page. Currently, once you reset your password and log in you are taken to the “account” settings in your profile.

Hi Joy,

Currently, when it logins it redirected to the last page which is reset password page. But when you access the reset password page after login it will redirect you to the account page. So this is the case happens when you have selected last user page in option userswp->login->Login Redirect Page.

If you want to redirect on the home page, you have to set home page instead of the last user page in option userswp->login->Login Redirect Page.

We will look more into the flow regarding last user page option in the future release.
