Hello..
I am a “rookie” when it comes to webdesign.. I have created a website and I am using this add on for registration.
When i test it, everything looks like it works except I get a
“Error: Something went wrong when sending email. Please contact site admin.”
Message..
I am sure it is something that I am doing incorrect.. Just not sure what that is 🙁
April 3, 2019 at 5:36 am #3787Hi,
This message displays when the server returns null or false while sending an email. We will remove this check in next version as some servers return nothing for wp_mail() function. So you can either wait till the next update of our plugin which will be around next week or let us know the FTP details in private reply here and we will make some fixes.

I can now access the FTP and I have made some changes to fix the problem. Kindly review it from your side and let me know if it works fine or not.

PatrikApril 5, 2019 at 4:15 pm #3808Thank you Patrik.
So I have tested and I no longer get the error message. YAY!
However, it does not seem to be sending an e-mail for the user to register. Also, I tried the “forgot my password” and that did not seem to send an e-mail out either?
Am I doing something incorrect?
Thanks
Chad
One other side question. Is there a way to remove the “Bio” field from the log in section.. I think it will just confuse my folks?
Thanks again..
April 5, 2019 at 4:31 pm #3809Hi,
1 please install this plugin and do a test to see if the email is logged and not sent or if it’s not generated at all: https://wordpress.org/plugins/email-log/
2 each form has its builder where you can add/remove fields.
Hope this helps.
Let us know.
Thanks
April 5, 2019 at 5:42 pm #3810Pablo or Patrik..
I tried tpo installed the e-mail log plug in and when I go into “Add new Plug IN” I get an Error HTTP 500.I had someone look into and this is the error message
This is the error in the logs: Cannot redeclare plugins_api() (previously declared in /home/drivewatco/public_html/wp-admin/includes/plugin-install.php:101) in /home/drivewatco/public_html/wp-admin/includes/plugin-install.php on line 230
Any ideas??
Thanks
Chad
April 5, 2019 at 5:49 pm #3811I never had problems with that plugin, but there are others that should be able to do the same thing.
You can ask for support to its author and let him know about the problem or try another one.

April 5, 2019 at 5:52 pm #3812No.. it is not that plug in.. because I can not even get to the plug ins to install..
I click on “ADD NEW PLUG IN” and I get that message 🙁
I was wondering if there was something with the programming that Patrik did this morning??
