I’m not sure if this is a UserWP thing or not:
As demonstrated in this video: https://youtu.be/mWXHMn_8HQ4
If you go to login and try to view password as you type it, clicking the eyeball does not work.
Also, there appears to be no way to reset the reCaptcha
Lastly, something crazy happened, watch video and you’ll see the login display a row of refresh icons go across the screen.

December 12, 2019 at 4:28 pm #6217Lol, that was the first time I noticed it do that. And I noticed it again just a few minutes ago, but not every time…
December 13, 2019 at 11:26 am #6241Hi,
That is due to font awesome icon changes the <i> tag to <svg> and due to that our JS is not able to remove the loader and instead it only appends the loader. We have made a fix for this. We are looking into the hide/show issue as it is for your site only and not generated on our test site.
Regards,
PatrikDecember 13, 2019 at 1:35 pm #6242I have the same problem with the reCaptcha, no one can log in or register. And also hide/show button doesn’t work.
December 13, 2019 at 4:21 pm #6244Yikes, this is tragic if people can’t login or register. I’ve spent countless hours every week and many many thousands of dollars for two years networking, traveling, videographing, editing, promoting, etc… all pointing to my site, the last thing I need is for that to foil it all. I hope that’s not the case with my site and all this can get fixed and begin working solid quick! 🙁
I received this email a few days ago:
“I have tried five times to become a member of your community but the system keeps coming up with another reason why they won’t accept my password. It is getting very frustrating and I don’t know what the problem is.”
And “I created a user name and password but every time I try to sign in I get a prompt that says invalid user name or password. I even started all over and the same thing happened. I just don’t get what’s going on. I know I had a lot of difficulty with the captcha photos because they were not very clear.”
And “I just tried it again and the same thing happened.”
But when I test it everything seems to work, quirky and not easy, but it works. She was using a mac and safari though. When I use my pc i have problems with firefox and google. So, it’s not working well at all on my end using a pc and may be even worse on a mac/safari. My wife has a mac, I’m about to test it on there and will follow up…
December 17, 2019 at 10:29 am #6276Hi,
The issue generated due to the multiple login forms on the same page. You have login form in the footer which I would suggest removing and then let me know if the issue is still there or not. Regarding font awesome, we will replace our logic for checking <i> tag instead of <svg> as the latest font awesome uses <svg> to display the icon. We will fix that for sure in the next update.
