    Hi guys,

Where do we find registered users who haven’t activated their accounts to purge them if they haven’t activated?

Second, is there a way to change or add to their roles to something else after they have verified their email address?

    Thanks,
    John

Check in the WordPress Backend -> Users page, in the UsersWP moderation column.

Roles, not yet, but coming soon. No ETA, but working on it right now.

    Thanks Alex,

I found the uwp_mod field and added it to my User List to see which users in aggregate have and have not confirmed their email. I had hundreds of new accounts and about 70% of them were spam.

With that said, how can someone request for their activation link to be resent?

I found this thread but I’m not sure it was ever dealt with.

There are lots of users who I’d like to have them be able to request their own activation link instead of me as the site owner doing it for them. Thoughts?

    Hi,

Users can get the activation link from the reset password form. But for that their accounts must be approved from the backend. You may have to filter the users and activate those who are not spam. You can use our reCaptcha add on to prevent spamming.

    Hi Patrik,

Let me get this right. If a user mistakenly deletes the activation email, or there is an issue, the owner of the site must be involved to help them recover and activate?

Why not simply show the “Resend Activation” link when the user attempts to log in if they haven’t verified their email like pretty much everyone else does?

    Hi,

We have made changes regarding this and it will be available in next plugin update. If you want to apply the changes on your site before the update then you can provide FTP details in private reply and I will do that for you.

    Regards,
    Patrik
