    Hello,

First of all, congrats on your new plugins.

Regarding the issue i am facing. Up until today i was using geodirectory with bbpress. Today i ve made the transition to UsersWP. The issue i am facing is with the Profile page. If i choose a page from the UsersWP settings (a page with just [uwp_profile] in it) then i get a 404 message. If i use the same page, but dont declare it on USersWP settings as the profile page, then i get some really out of wack profile page. I removed all my custom css, but same thing.

Before installing UsersWP i disable the bbpress settings on the geo integration section, disabled bbpress plugin and bbpress integration plugin and then installed WPusers.

Can you please help me with that issue?

    Hi,

it doesn’t work for me… I asked to the developers to have a look and fix it.

    Thanks for your patience,

Actually it seems to be working now… It appears that we can’t use a page/slug profile…

The developers will double check and let us know why.

    Thanks

I believe you are talking about the permalink slug. I ve tried various irrelevant words and it seems the only one working is when the page permalink is set exactly to http://…../test-profile-page/. One more thing that i ve noticed is that nothing happens when you click the Update cover photo or Update profile pic. It appears as the windows explorer window is about to open but the screen just stays grayed out.

Thank you for your help 🙂

Me again… Just troubleshooting and trying to help as much as i can.

I ve also noticed that on the back end of UsersWP there are some issues on the form builder. For example, on the Manage Account Form Fields tab, when you click on any field and navigate on the section “Show in what locations?” you ll notice that the options window underneath it is so thin that you cannot see the available options.

On the Manage Register Form Fields tab, there are no fields available under “Available register form fields”. Moreover, when you click on the fields of the form, those provide no options to adjust. Not sure if that is how it supposed to be or not.

Hi there, We published the plugin in wp.org just now.

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/userswp/

Please use that plugin. That fixes the “show in what locations” and the profile popup issues.

    Thanks

Thank you for your prompt response. The update fixes both issues you mentioned 🙂

I ve also figured out whats wrong with the permalink and it gives a 404 page. When you change the permalink and update the page, you then have to go to UsersWP settings and simply click save under General tab. It seems that although the profile page of your choice is correctly listed under the User Profile page field, when you change its url its not updated or something. Anyway, just clicking save solves the issue.

Did you have any chance to look at the issue with the fields on the Manage Register Form Fields tab of the form builder?

Forgot to mention, thats not a bug. All defaults field is already added to your form. Only pending register form fields will be listed there.

If you add a new field and then check the “Include in register form” option then that field would appear there.

Oh yes i see, so the issue was that i forgot to read the description of the tab which states exactly what you just said…. Human brain bugs…
