Can you explain the steps you took to set it up?
Normally ‘pretty urls’ should be built form a username which is entered by the user into the app at the point of registration.
Usually, when an app gets info from FB, it does not request the FB ‘pretty url’ but instead asks the user for a username. That is my experience.
There is a complex FB userID that is not made visible by every app but is used in the database to match users up (Is this the same user? Ah yes, the FB ID matches, ok then). It is that ID which is used to match users, not the name or even the email in most cases.
I would recommend still allowing username. For those ‘in the know’ they will take that as a hint to reserve their pretty URL.
This reply has been marked as private.Hello,
You can install the email log plugin to track if UsersWP is not generating emails. If UsersWP fails to create an email, then we can help to make sure emails are generated.
In this case, UsersWP is generating the correct emails, so this is not a UsersWP related issue.
However, we are unable to provide support for getting emails from your server through your host and to your site users. This is a discussion you will need to continue with your site/server host.

Further, please install the ’email log’ plugin from wordpress.org to keep a record of the email begin created by the site so we can have more information about what is or isn’t being created by the site.

Yes, that has been noted. -
