Add additional Email for New Registration

    When a new registers I receive an email to my admin account. I want to be able to send a fancy welcome message with instructions from my Zoho CRM system while also registering this new “lead”. I can of course just fancy up the email being sent from UsersWP. But that does not add the lead to Zoho CRM.
    Here are some possible ways:

      -Zapier can monitor an email address, which then creates a new lead in Zoho CRM where their workflow will take over.
      -POST the data to a web hook upon a new user registration. I would use either a Zoho CRM POST or one from Zapier and take it from there.

    Any ideas on the best way?

    We have plans to add a Zapier integration, but haven’t started working on it.

    I will ask the developers to look at your question.

    Zapier has a built in Zap which should work just fine. My issue, and this came up with the most recent update, is that when I login to the WordPress back end wp-login.php I am first directed to my /account page. Then, I have to visit /wp-admin to view the back end. This confuses Zapier so that the zap wont’ work. I have tried everything possible to eliminate this behavior but cannot get it back to how it used to work. I’ll open a support ticket with you to take a look. I may just perhaps roll back UsersWP. My site is integrated with WPGeodirectory.

    Thanks for looking into the issue I am having with users being redirected. I was able to solve my challenge simply by adding the WP Webhooks plugin, configuring it to send data upon new user registration, adding a Zapier web hook, and then configuring the Zapier zap to search for, create or update a new lead in Zoho CRM. This is a more elegant way for me as I don’t have to configure code in the site beyond adding the web hook function.

    Hi,

    The issue seems to be due to WordPress updates. I would suggest you deactivate the UsersWP plugin and then try to login to admin which can ask for the email confirmation by WordPress. Once you complete this step, you can do login and activate the UsersWP plugin. Now, your issue will be resolved. Let me know if you want me to do this on your live site.
