    Hello,

    I have enabled the UWP Author Box widget on the GD Sidebar.
    I can see the authors of respective Listings correctly.
    However, I keep seeing the Administrator’s Profile ( coming from UWP Author Box ) on search results “Places”, “Events” and Geo Searches.

    Is there anyway (i.e. by CodeSnippet) to disable display of “Administrators” in the UWP Author Box.

    Thank you.

    No, because your admin account is the author.

    You can easily disable the author box in the author box settings, though.

    Or, alternatively, make yourself a nice author profile and assign those posts to the new author profile, so, then, the author box would show the nice user profile instead of the admin.

    @alex

    Thanks for the reply.

    I forgot to mention that there are no listings posted by any user. This is a new site. But the administrator’s profile showing up on following templates.
    GD Archive template.
    GD Location page.
    GD Search page.
    It happens because I have enabled the UWP Author Box widget.
    If I disable the widget then I cannot display the Author ( actual listing authors other than the administrator who is not an author of any listing ) on the GD Sidebar.
    Unfortunately, this widget doesn’t have the “Show / Hide” option where we can select the page.

    Thanks.

    Turn it off for pages, and leave it on for listings and it should work fine.

    If we need to check the settings please share credentials in a private reply AND a link to the WP Backend edit page for the template so we know where to look.

    WordPress Credentials
    WP Admin Login URL:
    WP Admin Username:
    WP Admin Password:

    But this “UWP Author Box” doesn’t have the option to turn off / on.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Thanks for your time.
    I manage to achieve it by modifying the authorbox.php, creating a modified widget.

    Regards.

    Please check the options

    UsersWP – UsersWP – General – Author box (subtab) – Post types

    @alex

    Thanks again.

    Unfortunately, these options did not work.
    I have not temporarily modified the authorbox.php add filter.

    I will create a code snippet later.

    Kind Regards.
