Can't access WP Dashboard after changing role

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    Hello,

    After changing the role of an user from Contributor to Editor, although the WP Admin bar shows, trying to access the WP Dashboard or any other function of the WP Admin bar leads to the site home page.

    I tried clearing the browser cookies, login out and login in again, with the same results.

    After changing the user role back to Contributor, the WP Dashboard and the functions of the WP Admin bar can be accessed normally.

    I am not sure if this is an UsersWP issue.

    Any advice or recommendation?

    You may want to check the general settings for GeoDirectory.

    In there you can find a control for excluding specific roles from the backend.
