Hello, can we please get a button on the account page, or direct password change fields, or maybe a link in the account drop down box(Supreme theme) to get to the change password form? Adding another menu item to reach this form doesn’t seem like the best way for account users to manage their password if it’s separated from their account details.

I’ve also tried to add the “Password” field in the account form, but updating the password does not work using this method.

Thoughts? Thank you.

You can just add a link to the Account page, like this:

change password here

Thanks

Lol! I don’t know why I didn’t think of that.

Thank you.

Too simple maybe? 🙂

Probably. I tend to overthink things to death.

Can you please tell me where the change password notification text is set? I can’t locate it.

Both the email notification and on-page message are in the UsersWP language file.

Thanks

Thank you again.

When I test this out. I am getting an “Invalid Key” when I try to use the reset password link. Should I open another post topic for this?

So all good with the Change Password?
This is when you use the Forget Password link?

Yes, we’re good with the change password form.

When I test the “Forgot password” form, I am sent an email link to reset the password. I load the reset password page, but when I input a new password I get an error that says, “Invalid Key”. I’ve tried 4 times so far, all with the same result.

I get no such error when testing on your site …
Try using a different browser or make sure to clear everything.

EDIT: Ummm, it changed after a second…

Thanks

Wait, so did you get an error or no?

I just tried again. I’m on an incognito browser(firefox) and tried from my mobile browser too. I am unable to reset the password. Each time I put in the password it just says “Invalid Key” in red.

I see in my email log that you received the email to reset your password, but I don’t see the email sent confirming the password change.

Just checking in on this again to let you know that I’ve also tried to reset the password on an entirely different network, device, and browser. Same result. I am unable to submit the reset password form. Thank you.

Hi Joy,

Those two new email tags caused this new bug.

I have fixed this bug. We are planning to release new version in wp.org tomorrow.

Please wait till then.

Thanks
