How can we hide or change the order of the listings(CPT)? We’re not using the default gd_places listings, but it’s the first type that shows up under the listings header. We would like to remove it altogether or move it to the last subtab.

    Thank you.

Adjust the CPT advanced option: “Order in post type list”

This isn’t a GD issue. In the users profile, it shows the listing types available on the site. I’ve moved gd_places to display last and have removed the header with css.

How do I force the first listing type to be selected and displayed? Currently, I need to first select the type to display the listings. So instead of “Select your Sport” it would actually select “Ice Hockey”. See images for reference.

    Hi Joy,

The place is by default selected when we visit the listing tabs and to change it there is no filter which we will add in future so that it can be used to change the default fallback on click of the listing tab. So in your case, we have to make changes in core files which will be overridden when you update the plugin. Let me know if you want to do the changes to your site and we will do that for you.

    Regards,
    Patrik

We have made a note to work on this and will try to do so for the next release.

If you can let me know which files to change I can do it. Or please make it change and notate what was done.

    Thank you.

We are currently reviewing these changes and will post an update here if they are possible before the next release.

    Hi Joy,

You can have a look at this PR https://github.com/UsersWP/userswp/pull/205

We have added the filter so that later on users can use this filter to change the default subtab like you want to do or you can make direct change ‘places’ with your listing slug.

    Regards,
    Patrik
