Hi, I would like it to where users cannot access other’s user area. The only place I see where a link to a user 9in a basic set up) is in comments, correct?

I have been searching around the forum and came upon this thread:
    https://userswp.io/support/topic/username-privacy/

and am thinking this is close to what I am looking for? I like the idea of last name as initial only also.

The thread discussed various settings, that I cannot seem to locate at backend, so can someone tell me where these are? What am I missing :)?
First and last names can be set to “yes/no/let user decide”.
There is a field called Display Name you can make required.

If the reference thread is asking for something different then I am trying to do, ideas on how I can pull this off?

    Thank you!!

The thread you linked discusses and shares snippets that you can use with the code snippets
    plugin. Try it out!

Let us know how it works for you.

Ok, so just so I am clear…

First and last names can be set to “yes/no/let user decide”.
There is a field called Display Name you can make required.

Are a part of the code-snippets plugin? Not options in UsersWP?

I normally add snippets to my functions file.

    thanks for clarifying :).
