Display all authors in an extended tab who linked a custom post type

    Hi,

    So I created a custom post type named ‘gd_article’ using the gd custom post type plugin. This custom post type is linked in ‘gd_place’ post type.

    I created a new tab named Contributors in gd_place detail page and I want to display in this tab all the authors who linked there articles in a specific gd_place listing.

    Any hooks or ideas how can I do this?

    Sounds like a GD question …
    Why not link Articles to Places as explained here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/linking-custom-post-types/
    That will add all articles linked to the place there.

    Yea. I accidentally posted here.

    Actually, it is already linked and its working fine. I want to list all the authors in Contributors Tab who linked an article to a gd_place listing.

    I attached an image.

    Hi Derek, that would require some custom code, which is outside support.
    You could create a multiselect custom field that has all the authors listed? Or an HTML field if you want to do it manually.

    Hi Guust,

    Yes, this needs a custom code. I want it to lay in a grid layout.

    May I just know where the code/function situated which displays all the linked articles in a listing?
    Maybe I will just get the author of the linked article and display it in Contributors tab.
