    Im wondering if there is a way (or another plugin which runs with userWP) that could allow users to add different users as friends and private message them

    Hi Derek, We have 3 upcoming new addons.

    UsersWP Friends
    UsersWP Followers
    UsersWP Messaging

    But they are all premium addons. You can expect the Friends and followers addon release this week.
