Logging in with email locks me out

Hi guys,

Upgraded from GD1 to GD2 and going through a practice upgrade on my development site. I notice that if I log in using an email address and password I get locked out via wordfence for the following reason:

Used an invalid username ‘adrian@invictus.ie’ to try to sign in

People will use email rather than Username so it would be great if you could let me know what to do.

This is obviously a Wordfence problem. Please ask for support to them.

Thanks Paolo. I thought the limitation that you can’t seem to turn off “Username” for people registering (and logging in) with UPUsers was causing some conflict…. hence my question.
