Multisite and Shared Users

    Hi there,

    I am trying to understand multisite and how shared users works.
    I have 3 sites set up in a multisite, with wp users network activated.
    I registered a user on Site 3, and I can see the user in the backend of Site 3.
    If I change the url from site3/my-account to site2/my-account – it shows the user logged in to Site3 which is cool. But I don’t see that user in the backend of Site 2.
    Or is that the way it’s supposed to be?
    Because my next question was what if Site 2 has a user with that username already?

    Sites on a multi-site always share users.
    You cannot register a user with the same username on different sites.
    If a user is registered, he/she can be given access to different sites or not, see Network Admin > Sites > Edit one of your sites > Users tab.
