Problems between my WP theme and your plugin (which I liked the most)

    Hi,
    I have been testing plugins for membership on my site (still under construction) and I really liked yours over Ultimate Member (better looks and lighter). However, it seems to have problems with my active theme: http://contentberg.theme-sphere.com/

    If I activate the plugin, the arrow-down on the header menu for sub-items disappears, a blank little square shows instead, as if it was unable to identify the icon. I don’t know why this happens… The support team of my WP theme suggested using a different plugin…

    Hopefully you can help me with this…

    That sounds like a fontawesome version issue.
    Please allow us to take a look at the backend by sharing WP Admin credentials.
    I will flag your topic for the developers in case they can find a workaround.

    Hi,

    You can try changing the version from Settings->Font Awesome and check if it fixes your issue. We are using the latest version of Font Awesome in our all 3 main plugins and themes.

    Hi,
    Just changed Settings->Font Awesome->Type from CSS to JS and now it looks fine. (Technically, I don’t understand what I just did though). Guess I’ll dive (Google) right into it.

    Hi Alex,
    As I replied to Patrik, it seems to be fixed now that I changed Settings->Font Awesome->Type from CSS to JS

    But sure I’ll still give you access if it helps the developers. Let me know, along with the email address, if this is still of use.

    Try the options to dequeue other plugins that load FA. We can only do the same as you, try different settings for the FA utility.
