    Any non-existent url on my site (such as example.com/blah-blah) takes me to our 404 page (an elementor 404 layout).

    But a non-existent profile (example.com/profile/blah-blah) has it’s own page with a broken layout, no header, with the text “Epic 404 – Article Not Found”… ending in “This is the 404.php template.”

    If it is a 404 error, why does it not go to the 404 page?

    I’m using theme GDF Modern version: 2.0.0.1 and elementor pro.

    Could you help me know how to fix this?

    Hi Colin,

    Thanks for your post. This is usually related to permalinks. Could you share your Website WP admin access here in private reply so that we could check on it?

    Hi,

    We are checking into the 404 action, a developer will reply when an update is available.

    Hi,

    UsersWP is redirecting to 404 page but also includes the template from 404.php file of the theme. But I have fixed it for you and will be also available in next release. Thanks for spotting the issue.

    Regards,
    Patrik

    I have made changes in userswp/includes/class-templatess.php file at line no. 219 by removing code

    get_template_part( 404 ); exit();

    which was including template 404.php from the theme.

    Regards,
    Patrik

    Yes, it goes to my 404 page now (with my elementor template).

    Thank you so much once again!
