    I’m curious, how aggressive is development of this/these userwp plugins? I noticed when I experimented with them last time there was some more work needing to be done to them.

    Also, will they forever be completely compatible with everything GeoDirectory related?

    Lastly, is there any plan for forum development or will that forever be a BBPress thing?

    Hello Jeff,

    UsersWP is not going to be abandoned, is under constant development, and will continue to integrate with GD for the foreseeable future.

    We haven’t announced some of the upcoming additions to the plugins, but more news will be available sson. We are trying to keep the focus on GDV2 at this time.

    Hi Jeff,

    It should be progressing much faster from here on out. There was a change to the lead developer a few months ago. There are many addons in the pipeline and a few should be released/updated today.

    We do plan to keep GD compatibility, infact its now built in to core UWP (before it was an addon).

    We want UWP to be the lightweight frontend user profile plugin of choice, we have not even started to market it yet, that will happen in a few weeks once we are happy we have enough addons out.

    We have no current plans to develop our own forum, if the customer demand was there then we would.

    Is it safe to start using now or should I wait? That is, do you think there will be any significant upcoming changes to the point of foiling any current use of it?

    I think I would like to try it again. I’m just waiting to see how I can resolve my need for an Affiliate Recurring Payment solution so that users can receive ongoing subscription commission payments for listings they initiate/refer to the site. I’m assuming UWP will work with whatever the solution may end up being… I just wish GD was a compatible AWP integrated plugin, then I would be already past that and potentially into using the site…

    There will be some design changes in the near future and some plans for Gutenberg but as a whole i don’t see any reason to not start using UWP now.

    We have some plans payments and things but most are WPI related and not so much UWP (though some are) 🙂

    Hi

    Will userswp have an own payment possibility (Stripe, Paypal) in the near future. Or can UWP combined with WPI already yet?

    It would be nice to have a membership-plugin (with bbpress, mycred) with payment functions which can be connected to Geodirectories with his add-ons like Buddypress.

    It will be a game changer, if all this components would work together seamlessly
