Hi,
After the most recent update, I had a user try to create an account. I did not receive an Admin email as per usual. And the user claims “The link in the email to confirm my account doesn’t work.”

I just tried to create an account myself and the “Click here” activation link indeed does nothing when clicked.

Please share WP Admin credentials and a link to the site so we can find a solution for that.

    WP Admin Login URL:
    WP Admin Username:

    Hi,

Can you please try now as I have changed the message to use the [#login_details#] tag instead of [#activation_link#].

    Regards,
    Patrik

    Hi,

This might be issue with conflicts but I have changed the email content for the “Registration activate email” and it worked for me.

Please check from your side and let me know if your issue is resolved or not. Also, let me know the steps when the same above link is sent to the user email.

    Regards,
    Patrik

This doesn’t really fix the situation for me. With no activation link, I don’t see how can the account be activated by email.

Dear [#user_name#],

Thank you for signing up for [#site_name#].

[#login_details#]

Thank you,

[#site_name_url#].

If registration worked for you, it may have been because I had Registration Action temporarily set to “Auto Approve”.

I just tried to create an account with Registration Action set to “Require Email Activation”. After completing the registration form, I got this message:

An email has been sent to your registered email address. Please click the activation link to proceed. Resend.

The email contains no activation link so I just tried to log in and got this message:

Your account is not activated yet. Please check your email for activation email.

Until this is resolved I am returning Registration Action to “Auto Approve” but I would prefer to have accounts activated by email link.

Likely to be a cache issue.
All of the pages where forms are shown should be excluded from cache.

Ok. Anything else I should be excluding from cache that I might not know?
    Thanks
