Registration not working as intended

    Can you please add URL and WP admin details in a private reply so a developer can investigate.

    I do get a timeout when trying to register, and get this message:

    If you’re the owner of this website:
    The connection to the origin web server was made, but the origin web server timed out before responding. To resolve, please work with your hosting provider or web development team to free up resources for your database or overloaded application.

    Hi,
    Hosting reckons there are no server/resource issues. They suggested it is a caching or DNS issue since the user is actually created in the database.??

    I have tried de-activating all plugins updated in the last month but it made no difference. Have activated again now.

    Query monitor shows no useful script errors – only the missing heart-beat but I turned that off. I have a wp-core slow query.

    Tried de-activating userswp plugin too but it made no difference also when I used the GD registration form.

    It times out with a 524 error. Login usually gives 524 error too.

    CloudFlare and MalCare firewalls are turned off.

    Seems everything else on the site works ok.

    Hi,
    When I deactivated the Booster plugin, I was finally able to log in / register again.

    I need a cache plugin so can you please help with the Booster settings.
