Hi, I’m using UsersWP as my login for my GeoDirectory plugin. I have 2 “custom post types” in my Geodirectory (Brokers and Payroll), is it possible to create a different login for my other custom post type? Right now they’re showing up under the same one, and I don’t want to confuse my users.

Also, when I click “Payroll” it leads me to my Broker CPT listings, instead of my payroll CPT listings. How do I connect the “Add Listings > Payroll” link and the “My Listings > Payroll” link to go to my Payroll CPT pages?

    Here’s the login page: https://www.bernieportal.com/payroll-directory-login/

And I have a screenshot attached too. Thanks!

    Hello,

UsersWP doesn’t have different login or registration forms, just the one, though that is something the developers have and will continue to consider for the future.

You could add a field to the registration form for them to self-identify, and see that field in their profile.

Altering the My Listings link behavior would probably require customization.

In the near future we are planning to release an addon to work with roles. That may help your case. However we don’t have any ETA on that at this time.

Can you be a little more specific with your “adding a field to the registration form” suggestion? How would I go about doing that?

And the login form doesn’t work for both CPTs. When they click Add Listings or My Listings, whether for Brokers or Payroll CPTs, it links to Brokers–which was the first CPT I had set up. Do I need to set something up in the backend to direct the Payroll Add Listings and Payroll My Listings to the correct Payroll pages?

    Thanks!

Use the Form Builder to add fields.

    https://userswp.io/docs/core-plugin/userswp-form-builder/

Use the GeoDirectory endpoints to add links to each of the add lsiting pages.

    A few more questions:

    1. For the form builder, once I’ve added a field for users to select, will it direct them to the the correct CPT login options (broker vs payroll)?
Ex: If they select broker it’ll link them to the broker listing options, and they won’t be able to select the payroll options

    2. Will setting up the endpoints fix this issue: I clicked on View My Payroll Listings in the login and it directed me to my Broker Listings instead. There’s not even a place to view my Payroll Listings even though I have a Payroll Listing set up under this account. (screenshot attached).

    Thanks.

    1. You will need to add links to your menu to direct users to the appropriate forms.

You can review the integration options and adjust the settings

Hi, I’m sorry but I don’t understand. You said to direct users to the appropriate form. But both CPT options are on the same form. If I could have different forms per CPT then this wouldn’t be issue, but they’re sharing it right now so no matter what fields are selected, they’ll still be directed to the same form. Which does not fix my issue. Can I create a different form for each of my CPTs?

Yes, each form has a separate link; only one form page is possible

Ok, so how do I create 2 different forms? The link you sent me (https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/navigation/) does not fix my issue. I only have one form option for my directory login right now. Is this a UserWP solution, or a GeoDirectory solution?

When I go under Form Builder in UserWP I only have 2 options: Account and Register. It’s for my geodirectory.

Yes, those are the forms for UsersWP.

GeoDirectory forms show on the add-listing page. The fields are controlled in the Custom Fields tab.

Ok, so how do I add fields under my custom fields tab? Will that help to give me 2 different forms?

If you have two CPTs, then there are already 2 different forms, they show on the add listing page.

Add links to the right form using the GD Endpoints:
