Something went wrong when sending email

    Hello,

    I got this error: “Something went wrong when sending email. Please contact site admin.”

    This error is displayed when someone registers on the site. Note that the account is still created!

    My email address in general settings is the same as my domain, and SMTP settings works fine. I also have the debug of WordPress but I do not have more detail.

    How fix that please.. THX

    Hi patrik,

    Ok no problem I waiting the fix on the next release, but are you sure it’s this problem on my site? Because I don’t use the WordPress SMTP settings, I use “WP Mail SMTP” plugin.

    WP Mail SMTP reconfigures the wp_mail() function to use Gmail/Mailgun/SendGrid/SMTP instead of the default mail() and creates an options page to manage the settings.
