Hello, I am new to usersWP so maybe just missing something. I created a new registration form with additional fields (company, company address…). The form seems to work properly for registering but when I look at the user profile none of the additional info is there. When i look at users in wordpress, the user is there and the extra fields are listed but are blank. What am i missing?
    Thanks, Roger

Open up the custom fields and make sure to add them to the profile: see image.

    Let us know, thanks.

Please share WP Admin credentials and a login URL in a private reply and we will check on that for you.

I can see the issue there,

I tried setting the Temple field to show in account and register form, and not required, and got

“Column change failed, you may have too many columns.

The developers will take a look, but they may need FTP. Please write back with FTP and CPanel information so they can check files and database when t hey debug the issue. Thanks

    Hi Roger,

I would suggest you contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase the limit or can modify the DB column structure by reducing the data size of each column but for that, you may need the help of a developer and I would suggest taking backup of DB before doing the same. Let us know reply from your hosting provider.

    Regards,
    Patrik

    Hi Patrik,

Just to clarify, what should I be asking them to increase the limit of?

    Hi,

I have removed the old field and recreated the new one and it works properly. Can you please check from your side and let me know if it works for you or not?

    Regards,
    Patrik

    Hi Patrik,

I added a new user and the additional fields did not populate in the user profile

    Hi,

You need to select a location for each field to display for users. You can check the setting Show in what locations? for that and select the location where you want to display the field value. You can check our documentation for more information here: https://userswp.io/docs/userswp-form-builder/#settings

Let me know if it helps you or not.

    Regards,
    Patrik

    Hi Patrik,

It seems we are back to the original problem, if I go in and try to change “show in what locations” I still get the original error
