You could hide the button to change the image, with custom CSS. Have you tried that?
There isn’t an option to prevent users from changing the header, but I will take that up as a suggestion for the developers to consider.

the profile page is being redirected to the author page. We will need to debug that to find out where the redirect is coming from.

Is this a fresh install? Have you been through the settings?
Are the UsersWP pages still present?Then create it to hold plugin translations.

The image in the backend is by WordPress and not the UsersWP plugin. It will show the same image from gravatar or you can upload your own.
Currently UWP options are for the frontend only.
