Is there some documentation for these settings?
You say:
Registration success email triggered for the registration action “Require email activation”.
I have Registration action set to “Reguire email activation” but I do not get a Registration success email. I get the Registration activate email.
What triggers the Registration Success Email? Another setting for Registration Action? The Auto Approve and Auto Login settings seem to insecure for me. And I don’t really understand what the Force Redirect settings do.
I’d like send my users easy links to their profile and login page. And I would prefer to send them AFTER they activate their account by email. I thought I could use the Registration Success Email for this. But I guess I’m looking for an Activation Success Email.
Plugin was deactivated again in the last couple days. So, I don’t think it was the change in hosting causing it.
I just created a couple more test accounts and the activation links worked but I did not receive any subsequent Registration Success Emails after completing activation.
Also, strangely, the Registration Activate Emails I did receive are not showing in my WordPress Email Log. Was the email method changed?

ThanksThis reply has been marked as private. This doesn’t really fix the situation for me. With no activation link, I don’t see how can the account be activated by email.
<p>Dear [#user_name#],</p><p>Thank you for signing up for [#site_name#].</p><p>[#login_details#]</p><p>Thank you,<br /><br />[#site_name_url#].</p>
If registration worked for you, it may have been because I had Registration Action temporarily set to “Auto Approve”.
I just tried to create an account with Registration Action set to “Require Email Activation”. After completing the registration form, I got this message:
An email has been sent to your registered email address. Please click the activation link to proceed. Resend.
The email contains no activation link so I just tried to log in and got this message:
Your account is not activated yet. Please check your email for activation email.
Until this is resolved I am returning Registration Action to “Auto Approve” but I would prefer to have accounts activated by email link.

However, the Country field on the Account form did not work after install and I had to remove it and re-add to get it to work. FYI.Hi,
I don’t know where to put that code. Or how to format it for a snippet for Code Snippets plugin. Can you help? This reply has been marked as private. Thanks Patrik,
I have just received some new spam registrations and went to check and the plugin had been deactivated. Is it possible the spam is deactivating the plugin? -
