PeterI dont think that works here. I need to get a WP email log program so I can see what is going on. There are many to choose from…have a suggestion?
OK no problem. I will manually send out approval/reject emails until you guys send an update.

PeterSorry Patrik….last was in response to Alex.
What I do is I go to the User page and then to the new user and click on edit the user profile. At the bottom is the Moderation box and I select Approve/Reject, then save the page. Its interesting that I cannot extinguish the (1) next to users, although it goes away after several hours.

OK Alex. The only remaining issue is after approval, the approval client email doesnt go out. Otherwise the pages are correct and the registration emails go out.

OK good I will look at that. The issues are not completely solved yet. I think there still is a conflict with GD on emails. But getting closer.
pOK Patrik….I think I am all set. I was able to disable some of the GD functions to get Registration and Login correct. The only thing I would like to see is to use the recapcha for your Registration page. But perhaps that is a future thing.

PeterGetting closer….the link on the Login page goes to the wrong page. Is that on the GD permalinks page too?
OK….we are getting there. I have one remaining conflict between GD and WPusers. The Login page is a bit of a mess with incorrect links from GD. How do I fix them?
Also on the Login page the original GD Sign in and Signup boxes are still there.
I think that is the issue! Your login page is different than the one that new users see which is LOGIN/REGISTRATION. Look at the WP Pages. You registered via the REGISTER page which is not on the top menu. Should I change the Appearance Menus and switch? What about logins? I can list a separate LOGIN page which is an available page.

Yes, new registrations are coming through approved with no moderation. The email I receive is the Admin BCC copy as produced by the GD software. I think what you need to look at is why it works for you and no one else.

The registrations coming through are auto-registering. This is what I get when I do a registration, so its just not on my end.
PeterHi Patrik. Lets give this a few days and see how the registrations come in. I’ll report back on the activities.
PeterOK I did clear browsing history and I also purged the cache on the site. It did not work when I logged out, then registered as another user (same auto-logging result and email). I did see that your user name is listed as pending in the user list (which is good), although the site did not send an admin review email about this.
