Thanks.. sounds good. Regarding the http://ftp... my setup doesn’t allow me to generate temporary FTP accounts and I have a larger server.. so I get really protective when asked. I hate this because it makes it hard for me. Let me ask you if there is another way that I can do this. Can I upload or modify the files myself with your instructions? can we use a plugin.. I think I have one that will work.
Also I have two sites that I would like to apply this too.

Very interesting that this is a bootstrap issue. I do NOT know what you mean by “you can use legacy design if you want to use the list layout for now” or how to make a change if I wanted to test this. Please explain. Thanks.

My settings for this are the same on both sites. Turns out Places is in Position #4. So maybe this is not the correct setting for which one is the default focus CPT. Unless there is some other setting that you are talking about.
Holidaze.. I hear you. Thanks for all your help during these holidays. On both sites the settings for this was the same.. Auto Approve. Funny how they work differently with the same settings.
The only other option was “Auto Approve + Auto Login” so I am assuming that is what you were referencing. I will give that a try.

1. the Order of the tabs is okay.. it is the focus that I am trying to adjust. It opens to Places and that is not used as much as other CPT’s and won’t be used much by users in my directory.
