Hi I keep getting this error when testing the plugin by trying to register as a new user:
Something went wrong when sending email. Please contact site admin.
I see from the forum that this is a common problem, is there a solution to it?
This is the only obstacle to me paying for the premium version but it is a big problem.

So the plugin is great. Has all the options I need however users can’t seem to register and always receive “Error: Something went wrong when sending email. Please contact site admin.” I have no idea why,

i chnaged my general setting mail but still i get this “Error: Something went wrong when sending email. Please contact site admin.” so now what i have to to do??

I have a problem on the UsersWP Plugin when i try to registrer a new user ” Error: Something went wrong when sending email. Please contact site admin. ”
Before to post this message , i tried different solution but without success :
In wp-config.php , i adding these two-lines define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);
define( ‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true );and In the register form , i have the section ‘ Username ‘ so it’s good .
So could you give me another solution to resolve my problem please ?

Hello, I’m getting the following message when completing the registration form: “Error: Something went wrong when sending email. Please contact site admin.”
This happens despite no admin e-mail notification being set, or no e-mail confirmation being required.
However, the user is still registered correctly and can login as normal.

I also get the error “Error: Something went wrong when sending email. Please contact site admin.” when people are trying to register on my site.I just switched to UsersWP from UserPro where I did not see the error. I have all default fields enabled and not checked the Send to admin box. I am able to reset my password as I am getting the reset email so the emailing is working.
Please advise?

i have an error with userwp plugin + WP-Mail-SMTPwhen i try to reset a password or click on link “forgot password”
i see this messageError: Something went wrong when sending email. Please contact site admin.
i noticed:
if in wordpress-settings-email (WP-Mail-SMTP)
I choose settings – Use the PHP mail() function to send emails.
after all messages succeful delivered
but if i choose – Send all WordPress emails via SMTP.
with my correct settings
i again get an errorpls send me solution
how can i use this plugin WP-Mail-SMTP with your solution
or if it impossible send another solution to resolving my problem

Whenever I tried to register i get “Error: Something went wrong when sending email. Please contact site admin”
Its currently not live and is on another page, I’m planning on replacing my current registration with yours 🙂
